Music Careers Expo is taking place at Big Fan in Tāmaki Makaurau on Wednesday 6 May.
Attendees will be able to:

Attend interactive workshops with music industry professionals including;

a Gig Starters session focused on putting on all-ages gigs;

a live soundcheck and production workshop, during which students will have the opportunity to get hands-on with how a professional live show is set up from stage to sound desk.

Hear from artists, producers, event organisers, and other professionals working in the music sector

Participate in small-group career conversations and 1:1 sessions for tailored advice and feedback with industry professionals

Explore music sector tertiary and training pathways in the expo stalls alongside many national music organisations

Watch performances from local bands and artists

Getting there
Big Fan fan is located along major bus routes, and is a 5 minute walk from Morningside Train Station. You can use the AT Journey Planner to plan your travels.
There is limited free on-street parking outside the venue.
Accessibility
Big Fan has a wheelchair-friendly entrance, and the main venue is located on the ground floor, making it accessible for wheelchair users. Accessible restroom facilities are also available on-site.
